We're not your typical design firm

Honestly, we got into this because we were tired of seeing the same cookie-cutter buildings everywhere. Toronto's evolving, and we wanted to be part of shaping what comes next.

Our studio space

How we got here

Started back in 2015 with just three of us and a cramped office on Queen West. We'd spend late nights sketching ideas that probably seemed crazy at the time - buildings that actually breathe with their surroundings, spaces where people genuinely want to hang out.

Fast forward to now, we've grown (not too much though, we like keeping things personal), moved to King Street, and worked on over 80 projects across Ontario. Still get that same rush when a client walks into their finished space for the first time.

The folks behind the blueprints

Elena Marchand

Elena Marchand

Principal Architect / Co-Founder

Spent 7 years in Copenhagen before coming back home to Toronto. She's obsessed with natural light - like, it's actually intense how much she'll argue about window placement. Leads our residential projects and won't compromise on sustainability, which honestly makes our lives harder but the buildings way better.

Marcus Chen

Marcus Chen

Senior Design Architect

Grew up in Scarborough, studied at Waterloo, then did a stint in Vancouver's tech architecture scene. Marcus brings this whole minimalist-meets-functional approach that clients absolutely love. He's also weirdly good at 3D visualization - can whip up renders that look more real than actual photos.

Jamal Thompson

Jamal Thompson

Commercial Projects Lead

Came from the construction side, which gives him this practical edge that keeps our designs grounded in reality. He'll tell you straight up if something's gonna be a nightmare to build. Handles most of our commercial work and has this knack for making retail spaces feel inviting without being cheesy about it.

Sofia Ramirez

Sofia Ramirez

Interior Space Specialist

Sofia's got this amazing eye for how people actually use spaces. She'll notice stuff like where people naturally pause in a hallway or which corner of a room gets used most. Interior design background but she thinks like an architect. Makes our buildings feel lived-in from day one.

David Park

David Park

Technical Architect

The guy who makes sure our creative ideas don't collapse. David handles all the technical documentation and works closely with engineers. He's saved our butts more times than we can count by catching issues before they become expensive problems. Total perfectionist with building codes.

Aisha Okonkwo

Aisha Okonkwo

Project Coordinator

Keeps everything running smoothly, which is way harder than it sounds. Aisha manages timelines, client communications, and somehow keeps track of a million moving parts without breaking a sweat. She's also the only one who can read Marcus's handwriting on sketches.

What drives us

Real sustainability

Not the greenwashing kind. We're talking passive solar design, local materials, buildings that'll actually last. It costs a bit more upfront but saves everyone money and headaches long-term.

Context matters

We don't just drop a building somewhere and call it a day. Every site has its own story - the neighborhood, the light, how people move through the area. We pay attention to that stuff.

Function first

Yeah, we want things to look good, but if it doesn't work for how you actually live or run your business, what's the point? Form follows function isn't just something we learned in school.

Honest communication

We'll tell you when something's not gonna work or if there's a better way. No architect-speak nonsense - just straight talk about what's possible and what it'll actually take to get there.

Let's see if we're a good fit

Whether you're planning a new build, renovation, or just have questions about what's possible, we'd love to chat. Coffee's on us.
